Malaises, sleep issues and first-person shooters by DeRiften

I had trouble sleeping last night; kept getting heat flashes and just couldn't get comfortable so let's say I was pretty tired this morning. I finished my practical maths project and setup the headers and external libraries right for my Snake game but once I actually tried to start coding the classes and functions, boom. Migraine, blurry vision and I couldn't focus at all so all I could do was stare at the computer screen wondering what the hell was going on, and it wouldn't go away so I contemplating calling in sick but when I checked at the agenda for today's class, I saw that it was a pretty important class so I didn't really have a choice but to go and try to pay attention. Instead of taking the bus, I walked the 2km to college figuring it might help, and it did! The fact that the temperature was perfect and that it was raining probably helped, it's my favorite kind of weather and perfect for a walk. By the time I got there, I was in top shape again so I showed my experiment to the teacher and he loved it, which means quite a bit since he actually works at Unity. Today's class was really eventful and I started working on an actual FPS. Basic, granted, but still an actual FPS. It's in first-person, you can walk around with WASD, turn left/right with QE and shoot balls with Space. The goal is to shoot a ball at a brick wall and make it crumble, and this is the final project for this semester so we have a whole month to finish it... I'm already almost done. All I have left to do is find the right algorithm for the balls. I mean, I can shoot balls but if the player isn't moving when he shoots it, the ball doesn't move and when he is, it moves in the opposite direction so to shoot forwards, you need to be moving backwards. I watched tutorials on YouTube and read threads on the Unity forums and my code SHOULD work but it doesn't, so I don't know what the fuck; I'll have to experiment some more but hot dang, this is already huge progress. I mean it's only been a month and I'm already making actual games with actual physics, 3D graphics and gameplay.

Maybe you should avoid too much caffeine, bro. Try to read or listen to music (light ones) before going to be:).
