    Welcome to Weasyl :O i also fell into temptations and having people tell me to join... yay for peer pressure

      haha yeah though i was pleasantly surprised at how easy the layout is to figure out and how nice and clean the layout is. It just turned out to be a lot better than what I thought it'd be c:

        Oh yeah, i hear that, at first i thought i'd be as funky as Fa, but honestly.. this places lay out is quite simple and quick to figure out, nothing fancy needed or anything, not to mention, it's not over-populated.

          Yesss I tried inkbunny for a while but inkbunny was just....very dead and a tad complicated to figure out. It was irritating to say the least and I often times forget I even have an inkbunny. I'm highly happy with the Weasyl experience so far, even though it's only been two days.

            Same here with my first day, it's quite pleasant to be here, and yeah.. I made an inkbunny, forgot about it forever ago <.<

              yeaaa granted I haven't done a ton of art lately and my last pic on inkbunny was the last one I uploaded her, I still don't typically check inkbunny ever. I've almost stopped checking my deviantart too. thought about leaving but i do lotsss of human art too and i need a place that supports it since most of my characters are human :/

                Hey, you have my support on human arts, I accept all. I find cubs, humans, undead, ponies, furries, ferals, insects.. everything attractive in their own way ^^

                  haha well it's always good to have well rounded interests! i had actually stopped furry art for a while scrapping a lot of my character to focus primarily on human art (and i'm pretty thankful I did, because it helped me improve a shit ton in other things). I came back into furry art though once I was able to open commissions and learned it sold better than human art, but it's been sooooo great being able to make some money and apply what I've learned from my year or two of solely humans to my animal art in an anthro sense at least. That and I feel like my animal style developed more and I was able to find my own style that I can identify as my own, because before I was pretty much just trying to copy styles all the time. WOOPS.

                  ALSO SORRY FOR THE LONG TEXT ;W;

                    Heh, it's fine, i enjoy reading ^^ But yeah, I agree, a lot of furry artists, sadly do copy styles, usually from the more popular furs. I'd wish more took the time to practice their drawings and get their own styles down to have a more unique look. In a community of artists, it's slightly saddening seeing so little in terms of uniqueness and style, So i am quite glad i was able to run into you.

                      I mean it is good to know how to draw in other styles and be able to mimic styles fluently! It's a skill a lot of artists can't execute because they get too developed into one style so trying another is out of their comfort zone but it's a skill a lot of companies look for in an artist! But it's still nice to have that one distinguishable style you can call your own and let others learn from c:

                        That is quite true :3 but i mean, after awhile with EVERYONE drawing the same thing, it does kind of dull out the overall experience for me, i don't mind copying similiar styles, just.. well, yah..

                        • Link

                          it's a good learning technique but it's still equally important to find something unique <3 It's also kinda fun ALMOST like self explorin I suppose?

                            Heh, i wouldn't really know that side x3 i just write poems.
