A few weeks ago, we lost our dog of over 10 years, Cookie. She was getting worse after the medications the vet gave us wore out. Long enough for us to give her love and snugs, but it was still heart wrenching. I told my husband we shouldn't get another dog, we don't have time for it.

A week went by, and Ron started to look at Puppies on the web. Sigh
He said there seemed to be something missing. So we drove up one weekend while my daughter was in Drivers Education to Summersville, WV. Met with people that had German Shepard Puppies.

So, We have a new Puppy, her name is Freya. As stated above she is a German Shepard and her ears aren't as floppy as before, but one likes to flop the opposite direction than the other. She about 12 weeks old now. Was born Dec 23, 2013.

We are pondering the name we should put on her AKC papers. Kassy,s Lady Valkyrie Freya or something like that. Her Father's AKC's name was Wolverine.

Anyway, it's so far, been an experience.

I miss Cookie, she was such a well behaved dog.
