Feels. Undescribably feels. I'm tearing slightly as I write this and I'm not ashamed to say it. I came into this convention with no idea what to expect or what would happen. Despite that I still had hopes and wishes. These were all met and summarily exceeded. What I experienced was nothing short of amazing that left me moved to tears and barely maintaining my composure at times. So let's start at the beginning.

The first thing that happened was that I was greeted by both China and Kifu. They were both lovely individuals, smiling and greeting me with warm embraces. As someone that is not totally at ease with physical contact, this came as a slight shock but the sensation was passing. If anything it was merely a harbinger of things to come.

As soon as that was over we dropped off my things and the festivities began. Off I went to behold Qarrezel and the charming Mateo, hard at work with the last project they would touch until Convention's end. That project was the creation of Tierney's fullsuit for China, something I was entirely unprepared for and ill-prepared to mentally handle. Q and Mateo both offered their own embraces and handshakes, a ritual I grew increasingly familiar with as time stretched on.

Then came the unveiling of Tierney in her full glory. Such was the energy of that event that I had to look away for a moment as that suit came together. When China was finally able to experience that suit as it was made whole...the feeling was indescribable. I swooned on my heels watching as she indulged in the full glory of her character. Prancing, skipping, turning...her energy was without bounds.

Dramatic as it may sound, my worldview changed in that moment. My demeanor was largely reserved and collected but it was merely a front to retain what composure I could. Inside I was a wellspring of emotion, a fountain ready to burst. Watching her live what can only be described as a dream awoke a part of me that had lain dormant since time in memoriam. I witnessed pure fantasy come to life. And so begins the first part of my bizarre adventure. I shall document the rest in good time once my emotions allow me.
