Would SL pictures be wrong? by Renomaki
Back on FA, I think there was a rule against SL pictures, which I could understand since it would be so easy to just clutter the site with nothing but SL pictures easily. After all, it only takes a few minutes to make a few good SL pictures, while a normal drawing takes weeks or more. And while people like Maja may make some pretty nice pictures, some people are, well... Let's just say their pictures would fit in well on Facebook.
But this being Weasyl, I am not sure how it works here, and it is temping to put up a few pictures. I myself have a fair number of photos taking during my adventures in SL, and sometimes wish I could share them.. But I don't want to break any rules in the process, so I just want to ask others if it would be ok, and if so, how many am I allowed?

Hi Renomaki,
Generally they're not okay to be posted here outside of using a screenshot for a Character profile (and even then the models shown need to be credited). We're going to work on making this a more clear policy in our Community Guidelines, as it's something we've been discussing how to handle for awhile. The main reasoning is that things in Second Life tend to fall under "showcasing things you own" which is very Facebook like, and it's hard to credit things even if you made significant modifications. You're welcome to make a gallery on imgur or another image sharing site and to link it here on Weasyl, but the content itself should not be hosted here. If you have any further questions, please feel free to let me or other staff know.
