Took my rats to their first vet visit for a wellness check up. I know it seems weird, but there's all kinds of issues that can affect rats, so I wanted a baseline for their health.

Beadle was very difficult because he wouldn't hold still. The vet was laughing at how much of a wiggle worm he was, but he was very good about being handled (as good as a bundle of energy like him can be). Gustav was much better behaved and held still for his check up. She was very impressed with how comfortable they were with being held considering their age, since most young ones don't get much human interaction.

There was a mix up on the phone though and the secretary wrote down ROTT instead of RAT... so they thought I was bringing in Rottweiler puppies. Everyone was joking about how they looked like a pair of vicious Rotties.
