Soooooo, I've been noticing a negative response to artists who ask people to not critique their work in comments.
I wanna get something straight.
Yes it's a free Internet and you are free to express yourself in any way you want and say anything you want, be it opinions/whatever. But you are a disrespectful little shit if you disregard the artists wishes and critique anyway. Some artists don't like critique. Sure you have the right to give it anyway even if they explicitly say they don't want it, but why do you feel the need to give it? It's rude, disrespectful, and just causes a bunch of stupid drama on top of making you look like an asshole. Which news flash, if you do that you are indeed an asshole.
I mean, holy fuck, is it so hard to just be respectful to another human being?
