Hey guys, sorry about the lack of activity on here regarding A Colour of Indigo. Things have been super busy in my life lately.

First of all, I have decided to switch out of my journalism program. I just feel as though my heart hasn't really been in it. Of course, I love writing, and my ultimate goal in life is to publish a novel, and hopefully have it adapted into a movie. But what I have learned from this program is that news writing and fictional writing are two completely different things. I feel as though, with news writing, I am very restricted creatively. We are told to use simple language, and often our stories have to be very concise. Also, a lot of the courses I take are related only towards broadcasting writing…which I have never had an interest in. You think writing for a newspaper is concise? Try writing only two sentences for an entire story. It's harder than it seems.

So I've switched over to Executive Office Administration, or basically, being a secretary. I believe I have the skills to do it. I'm just awaiting the acceptance email/letter now. c:

Something else that's been going on is my money. I'm kind of in trouble at the moment. Basically, since I am now considered an adult, I've been receiving part of my dad's CPP for a year now. (I only receive it as long as I go to school however. That's the catch.) I was sent a form for the school to fill out in January, but I misplaced it. >< So I haven't been getting any money for the past two months. I had to get another form, and I got that filled out yesterday, and now I just have to mail it off. (Just have to find out the address.)

And that's what has been going on in my life lately. I probably won't be uploading this weekend either, as I'm going to Furnal Equinox! Yay! But I expect after that, I am going to be able to upload again. I am also working on a completely new project for this Spring/Summer…an MLP fan fiction! Yup! A whole new ballpark. :D It will star my MLP OC Teacup (a picture of her can be found in my scraps). I'm catching myself up on the episodes so that I have a clear idea of what I'm working on, haha
