I'm super excited for this remake. I don't have cable, so I'll probably have to wait for awhile to watch it or find an online source, but its existence is just wonderful. I saw commercials for it last night on Hulu and it just made me giddy.

Cosmos is about science, how life works, where we came from, the universe and its mysterious magnificence, but it presents that info through the form of travelling in a ship.

I know I haven't seen the original by Carl Sagan, and I know watching it now probably has some outdated information (not that it undermines the value it holds in any way), but I know it was a great series because it was made by someone cares about what they were talking about. Neil Degrasse Tyson is the same, maybe with a little more sass and tough love (I don't ever see him as a push over), but I think for the current time period we need that.

Does anyone else know about this, or have any thoughts about it?
