Since I'm currently waiting for my new hard drive and can't draw on my computer, I will be attempting to do a traditional sketch every day until it gets here. These sketches will be posted up to MY ART BLOG, so if you're not already following that, you now know where to go.

Since I can't post from a computer, I have to take a picture of the sketch with my boyfriend's iPad (because I have a first gen iPad which has no camera), and then email it to myself before I can post it there. 

The main reason I'm doing this is not just to keep my hands moving in an artistic fashion, but because in the last few pictures I did, I found myself relying on the lasso tool. Having started my artistic career with traditional sketching, I don't want to have to rely on tools like that. Yes, they're just tools, and anyone who is good at any craft relies on tools, but like a therapist who says that they want to make sure a person can be helped through therapy without resorting to medication, I want to make sure that I can still draw without the use of something to fix my sketch.

So, the sketches I'll be doing aren't just to keep myself from getting rusty, they're mainly to reopen my artistic eye.

And, as always, if you want to commission me and help to get me a new computer so I can do your commission, I'm going to ask that you pay up front and be patient for a little while. I keep logs of who has commissioned me, so you won't be lost if you do.
