i have a thing where i usually undercharge people that are the first times of commission types is that bad
in other news i puked for the first itme in like 6 years today first thing waking up because i went to bed after eating a sandwich that had creamcheese and lox on it like a goddamn idiot

I think it's pretty normal to charge less for 'experimental' type pieces, especially if you don't really have any other examples. Since they won't know exactly what they'll be getting.
I've seen a lot of artists do it
