Whew, I'm stumped but pretty satisfied of my day. See, today was my first "full" day, AKA classes started at 12:30pm and ended at 10:00pm. Today, the derp algorithms (yeah, I said arithmetic in my previous journal but I messed up, it's really algorithms) and data structures teacher really got his act together and came back today with a revenge. Since we accidentally did what he was supposed to teach today in the last class, he made us special exercises and it was pure code. I wrote 470 lines of codes in three hours and a half, so I "finished" the first. Finished is in quotes 'cause I still need to test the program's functions via the teacher's special main.cpp that he hasn't finished making yet, and then debug it before writing the pseudo-code for it. I reckon that should take about 3-4 hours so I'll be busy for a while... which I love. I mean, for two years I had literally nothing to do other than play games all day so now, I somehow love literally not have time to do anything but college work (I haven't logged in Final Fantasy XIV in a few days)
After that came my objects-oriented programming class and by then, lemme tell ya I was quite hungry. I mean, I ate supper around 11:00am to try and make up for it, but at the usual hour I began to have the munchies anyway so I guess I'll have to get some ziplock bags to bring a sammich with me or something so I can clog a hole. Sooooo, in programming again, there was little theory and most of it was exercises so I coded away. Overall, in nine hours and a half of class, six of it was coding. I finished everything at 9:37pm which didn't leave me enough time to make it to the bus stop in time before my bus arrived, so I took out my 3DS and played some more Pokemon FireRed till 10:00pm and came back home. Again, really tiring day but also really satisfying. Each day I just learn so much useful stuff and have so much fun learning it; I've already learned more stuff I'll use than I learned in two years of computer science, and I'm only a week in.
Tomorrow though, I get the feeling things won't be as fun since it's eight hours of practical vectorial algebra, AKA maths.
