Comp Issues :c by Delle

I'm getting really annoyed. So we're using hubby's phone as a hotspot, which works fabulously for my phone, the PS3 and his laptop which I had been using. So I set up my desktop and it'll connect and show a high signal. So I'll load up FF or Chrome and type in the Google page. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Same with Skype or Trillian. It'll show I'm connected then boop, it's trying to reconnect. But my internet connection is still connect and I'm showing high signal. It even let me download new virus updates for Avast before it cut again. xD

So I tried disabling Avast. Still the same. Flushed DNS, and did that netsh catalog thingie,v rebooted. Also did the Malwarebytes scan. That found a ton of stuff so I killed it all and reset. Same internetness. I've tried resetting his phone or his hotspot. Same issue. But of course my phone, the PS3, and his laptop are still just fine.

What the fuck is it with my desktop? UGH. I want to pull my hair out. It was fine when we were using the wireless router and Comcast before we moved. Was my wireless card just damaged in the move or something? But then why would it connect? I don't know, what I do know is that it's seriously pissing me off because I set up my Cintiq and shit over there and while yes I can still draw but none of my online tools work. Like I can't look up references, I can't access my color palettes, etc.

I'm trying to look up fixes online from the laptop, as you can tell by all the little things I've tried, but nothing is working. I think I might throw my pc though a window. xD

Btw if any of you happen to be good at internet people..
Hotspot is being used on Version with a HTC Droid DNA though the app PDANet. (Which again is working fine for the other things in the house. And it was showing 2 connections, the PC and the laptop.)
Computer is running a boot of Win7 Ultimate and hasn't been updated in a long time since I know there is that one update that breaks it. Firewall/Antivirus is the free Avast one.

Tethering it and using the data directly though USB is working swimingly so it's def something with the wireless setting or card I'm guessing. Blehhh. :|

Edit: I think it's okay now? It's behaving so far so we'll see. I sure hope so. XD
