So Many Questions by Tigris

*unwraps a brand new Weasyl account*

Hmmm.. *shakes the website*

How do I work this thing? O_o

Okay, so far I've uploaded an icon, a character file for my fursona, basic commission info and profile stuff.

Next, I'd like to get a banner up there, more characters, artwork and all that boring stuff. ;)

Like me, you are probably surfing around the site, discovering locations of must-have options and it's also probably raising a few questions. Questions like "what is that?" and "what does that do?"

This site seems very different to FA and similar to DA, yet I find myself wondering what things are, simply because there are no descriptions on ANYTHING. Why would we need descriptions? Well, for example, "Compose" is for submitting stories, not for writing journal entries. Besides that, here are few questions that would easily be figured out if they would put up descriptions.

What are Collections for? Is it different from faving? Am I supposed to put my art in a Collection or other people art?

What does creating a Group offer on Weasyl? Is this option even live on Beta? I don't see a section for it.

How do I view a full list of people who are streaming (not just 4 people)? Same question for the Critiques list.

Here's a nitpick.. but still knowing the status of the site is a good thing to know.

How many people are on Weasyl? It'd be great to see a number to know how popular the site is becoming.

Also, I find myself just staring at the main page or browse area simply because I don't know how to find artists. What artists are here? Nabyn offers a list of artists who are currently active on the site. I'd love to see that brought here to Weasyl. It would make it a lot easier to find familiar artists to watch.

So far, the only thing I am disappointed with is the Character area. Nabyn has so many character options, allowing you to list your characters residence, birthplace, zodiac, occupation, body type, eyewear type, eye type, hair type, age, gender, species, nicknames, relationship status, dressing style, tattoos, markings, biography, personality info, likes, dislikes, hobbies, religion, species details, and the origins of the character. They also allow you to use HEX colors to show the color palette of your character, which comes in handy when commissioning someone. In this area, I feel like Weasyl is severely lacking and could include these. Nabyn's UI is really difficult to understand, so I appreciate the clean, easy IU here at Weasyl.

Anyway, thanks for reading my babbles. :)
