Let it go or let it pass by merryjest

Come on, my Let It Go cover deserves to have more than a few meager views.

I mean, I'm perfectly happy singing-- if you want me to share my singing with you, then make it worth my while to continue to share them with you. The time it takes to record covers, make and upload the videos is time I can spend doing something else if hardly anyone is going to see them.

If you wonder why I've stopped posting things altogether, it's pretty much because of this- that I was tired of spending time to upload stuff and write descriptions that nobody was going to see or listen to.

Some people vote with their wallets, all I'm asking you is to vote with a share. If my singing is worth your time, go ahead and let me know. If it isn't, I'll go my merry way.

Let it go or let it pass

I apologize if I'm stepping on your toes and being blunt, but this isn't the most positive attitude you could have as a musician. If you can't find pleasure or satisfaction from the act alone of singing or your own music, then you should put it down for awhile. I had issues with being pissed often on FA when my hard to learn/record music barely got any recognition, but eventually I realized that I just had to play for myself and not a single other person. If other people wanted to like it, awesome! If they didn't, whatever, it's there to listen to; I had fun playing and recording. You'll feel a lot better in the long run if you can start thinking this way. Sorry to intrude, but I can empathize greatly and just am passing on some hard learned advice.

Note what I said: my post exclusively dealt with sharing music with the fandom. I'm a graduate student in a very prestigious opera program with a scholarship and resident artist program with an opera company.
Hence why I emphasize that for me, sharing my music with the fandom is a time thing, and if nobody is going to listen to it, the time I spend making the recordings and uploading the videos can be better spent elsewhere.
