      I'm a-ok!! Kat managed to keep her power, which was awesome, but I made sure to keep texting her throughout the storm (along with bunch of other buddies)!! Everybody made it through the storm totally fine, though, so no harm done!!

    My family is in New Hampshire so they avoided most of the storm. I think they lost power but only for a short amount of time. It's good to see you are safe and sound.

    New York and New Jersey got it real bad though. I wonder how they are going to do?

      Yeah- I my family/a lot of friends are in NJ and it got hit REAL bad! NJ Transit isn't even very functional yet and it's been a full week, which is really tough for a lot of commuters....

      Literally everything in lower manhattan was in darkness below 30th street, which was utterly surreal to see (since yanno it's always lit up and stuff)!! The entire situation was just such a mess for everything and everybody in this area ggguh

        I hope they manage to restore their infrastructure soon. I'd like to donate to the red cross but I am still jobless and I spent like the last chunk of my savings account on a test so I can get into this college. :s

        I'm glad others are donating and helping out though.
