So guys. I’m not even sure how to word this I’m still kind of in shock.

I went to a party (something I don’t normally do) and met a few people.

One of these was a guy who I’d previously dismissed, only noting him for being really tall and wearing moon boots.

We got to talking and I found out he’s a model, had been working in Australia and had come out here to help a local business out before making his way to California.

Turns out he’s not only a model but also dabbles in makeup. I showed him some of my work and he said he’d love to sponsor me.

Not only that, but pay for me to get set up. Including going out to Hollywood. Free rent and everything.

I expressed my concerns about getting stranded out there and he said if things fall apart he’d pay to have me flown back to Utah. He’s even willing to come meet my family to alleviate any concerns they might have about this offer.

It’s got me not accepting the offer right away. I really want to make sure this would be safe for me.

I told the guy I’m on the fence about going or not and that I’d like to sit down and go over what would need to be planned, things that would happen there, etc.

He’s heading back to CA in one/two months, but other than that hasn’t given me a deadline yet.

All in all, this is either the best job opportunity or the slickest scam ever.

And I can’t really decide what I want to do. OTL
