Got one single dollar in my paypal account... and I think I want to buy some stuff (and keep throwing money at awesome people).
I think I might need to open commissions, or do a drawings pack, or open back up the pay-what-you-want pokemon requests again, or all of the things together... I don't know which would be more effective.
And I have to put prices on them too... ugh, I know nothing about decent pricing.
I made the calculations on how much is worth one hour of work (Based on how much money I spend in a month to eat, pay the bills, buy random things, plus an extra amount of cash) and the final doubled price is still ridiculously low. Double checked, I even doubled the price of stuff and the number is still low. (damn you degraded national currency)
I don't want to go back to doing cheap commissions (As I did back in April 2013 I think) because I've just now realized that is DEFINITELY NOT a good thing to do.
So, even though I am ashamed to ask, how much would you pay for a fully colored commission? What should I base my pricing on? What should I do?
I am also reminded of the 'Bazaar' kinda thing I heard of a long time ago. From what I remembered, you do a small sketch and post it and you set a price to reach for you to complete it. People can put money towards what they would like to see finished. This allows not one but many people to put in some money to see the pic completed. A deal for many individuals instead of one person paying in full. Just an idea and I may not have explained it very well^^;

Commissions are your friend. Whatever you do, don't undersell yourself, because then it makes commissions unbearable. :<
