A lot has happened in just these last two weeks! Classes are rough, several I've had to withdraw from due to personal reasons. The good news is that this will allow me time to build up my knowledge base, get in shape, and accelerate my artistic progress from now till May. Setbacks like these can be turned into opportunities~.

It's hard not to get ahead of myself with art, to get carried away with all this 'free time'. While I'm focusing it on preparing myself for a second round of classes I will be posting much more in the next couple weeks. Thanks to user DemetriusOrangetail, my best and longest friend, I'm in the possession of a second monitor that's doing wonders for my digital productivity. Hug him. Give him fish! His generosity will be most helpful.

This year I've been experimenting a lot with the 'hard' MSpainty look. People seem to enjoy its effect, and I'll continue playing with it as I bring back the more blended, painterly look. When I'm not focusing on style, I'll be trying to push more perspective into my works. Gotta keep progressing, gotta keep working. Maybe not this year, but I rly want my stuff to look as hot as the old masters.
