Advice to all artists out there.

Don't do charity for anything.
If the group you so graciously designed a logo for doesn't take advantage of you, other groups will catch wind of it and harass you for free art.

It's getting really frustrating that I'm getting all these requests for things that I cannot do in the time frame I am given and when I tell them that I have a regular job that takes up my time, and in general I do not put unpaid projects at the top of my priority list I get a nasty email back saying that I am being "unprofessional". What professional does work for nothing?

Apparently people got the wrong idea and thought that I would do this stuff for free, because this one person in that group (who is not the one that contacted me about designing their logo) told someone they know that I would design logos for free.

NEVER do charity! It comes back to bite you in the ass one way or another. If you do ever do something for a group or a person, make sure to tell them very VERY clearly that you are only doing this out of kindness, and anyone else has to pay.
