My moving out to the Big City by DeRiften

Man am I exhausted. Got up at 6:00am, got everything that was left in the car and left around 7:15am. Trip went well (much better than the last one, that's for sure) and we arrived at my new home around 3:00pm, so half an hour earlier than planned. Thing is, the landlord wasn't there so we went straight to Emploi-Quebec to transfer my file and give my phone number to the Programme Réussir guy. Once everything was done an hour later, we went back to my home and the landlord arrived at the same time so we got the keys and unpacked everything. Mostly everything is unpacked; the only thing left to do is organize my games and DVDs either chronologically for series or by genres and console for games. Once everything was done, I tested out the Internet on my desktop but the connection was very, very limited (one bar), so I tried on my laptop to see if it was an issue with my desktop since I had never used wifi on it before, but my laptop has the same issue so tomorrow I'll need to buy a wifi booster at Future Shop... which is good since my keyboard's ESC key broke during the trip; it's pressed all the way in and I can't manage to get it back to normal. RIP, basic keyboard that comes with all Dell computers and usually break after a year, you've lived a rough yet short life and your WASD keys are already polished off. Around 5:45pm once everything was done, my mom and I decided to go eat at that one Indian restaurant we got a reservation for before leaving. She's a member of almost half a dozen discount sites so she gets all kinds of things, and that 50% discount was one of 'em. Meals there usually cost a shitload (51$ for two persons), but with the discount it only cost about 24$ for two, which is a pretty normal price for a restaurant. The GPS said the restaurant was only 10 minutes away from my home and we finally arrived at 7:00pm. Then we sat down and two hours later, we got back up and went away. The entree and papadam were without a doubt the best part by far. For the main course, I decided to pick the spiciest course on the menu, which was vindaloo. Well, it tasted just like your average meatloaf, I was pretty disappointed. The server looked pretty impressed when I said it wasn't spicy at all, though, maybe we just make spicier meatloaves than Indian people. Overall a pretty average experience, and now I'm exhausted and about to go to bed. I know I should finish unpacking but I think that will wait till tomorrow morning; I'm in no hurry anyway. Tomorrow I'll go do a giant groceries to fill up my fridge and shelves and then test the wifi booster I'll have bought, since right now my speed varies between nothing and 12 mb/s, with a whopping average of 7 mb/s; really unstable.
