Weasyl is never going to be the community's preferred art gallery. this place is dead, and the only time it becomes that active is when an FA mass exodus happens.
With all of the drama on FurAffinity and DeviantART saying that retracing of other's artwork (art theft, cough) is okay, I'm pretty sure mass migrations will become more frequent to Weasyl. And it doesn't seem very dead to me, but I may just be on the more alive side of it. Not quite sure what to think on the dead part. :)
