February Updates by PewterKat

I know I've posted this on Tumblr, but I don't think I've gotten around to posting anywhere else: Next Monday, I'm finally getting my boy Phoenix screened for ADHD. We're going to a clinic that specializes in the disorder, and I'm really hoping we can get some good help for him. I've kept him out of Pre-K because I know he just won't be able to handle it, nor they him. I don't want to leave with a prescription, but hopefully we can start him out on a low dose if they do put him on something. Neurotherapy would be wonderful if they offer it, but that may require traveling 1 1/2 hours to and from (3 hours total travel for probably a 15-30 minute session), which is something we can't do right now.

Next Monday I will also be starting College Math and Intrepersonal Social Relations something or other. Yaaaaay things. I am working through as best I can right now. I'm inking drakehunter's (FA) commission, and working on explosivepancakemix96's piece when I can't do anything NSFW, since I'm already so far on it. Almost ready to start shading that one. After that I will be moving to the piece for bloodgod245 (FA). After I finish that one, I will be opening for commissions again, with only 5 slots from here on out. That will assure I don't take on too much work again.

Because of this, I will extend my January discount themes through February, along with February's themes, and maybe even through the end of March, at this rate.

hugs I'm so sorry. My ex, his father, was treated the same way, and his parents were pretty abusive, too. I want to make sure I do as much right for Phoenix as possible, and try to educate others about ADHD so we can stop mistreating people who have it.

kinda helped that my mum was a mental health nurse and managed to find good doctors in the end and piss the school off and get me a good college (in the UK btw)
