The whole issue with a certain user joining the team of FA's coders had a lot of users saying 'It's not our business, it's a he-said she-said issue and there's no solid proof anyway.' I then find these same users complaining about /another/ user who is, in simple terms, being a dick, but supposedly borderline manipulative. They post their username, scream this just HAS to be shared to 'warn others', etc., saying they're in the right to do this because of what he's done.

  1. You are showing no proof, the same thing you complained about with the issue of that FA mod.
  2. If there's no proof, it's a he-said she-said scenario. This is going to get you nowhere.
  3. The mods can't be held responsible for someone being a dick.
  4. If he's harassing you, don't make a call-out journal that will likely get YOU in trouble, submit a TT.
  5. Don't get the public involved in your personal business. This is what people hated with the huge explosion that caused the 'FA exodus', and you stated you thought this was a private matter, yet here you are doing what you said shouldn't be happening, and now you have a bunch of people starting to band together about how they're 'surprised that a person like this is still on FA' and whatnot. Exactly what good is that going to do?

But of course, if it happens to /you/ then it's alright to act this way, because it's /yourself/ at stake here, not some stranger. It quite irks me that people think this 'as long as it deals with me I say what can be done and what is right' vs a 'if this is wrong, it's wrong regardless of who it happens to'. I'm not fond of people who don't stick to their guns so to speak.

Seriously, people just amaze me sometimes.
