Fantasy Hero Races
Below is a list of races for hero players to use. the names and fluff for them is not so important, but the stat separation establishes a logical system without allowing any one race to become ‘overpowered’.

Colossal - None
The fantasy game setting assumes that the average character is medium sized. A Colossal sized character like a Titan (Greek, not Attack On) is so disparate that without special circumstances a Colossal character would be overwhelming in combat, unable to interact with most other characters and spend most of their time as a group transport.

Large - Orks and Trolls similar to WoW. Giants look like large humans but can feature some extremes based on their subspecies.

Giant - Life, Strength, Toughness, Speed bonus, Energy, Mind, Will penalty, Penalty to hiding and avoiding attacks, can’t fit inside most structures built for medium characters. 2-3 times the size of a human.
Ork - Life, Strength, Toughness, speed bonus. Penalty to hiding and avoiding attacks, Has difficulty fitting inside some medium structures and using some medium equipment. 1.5-2 times the size of a human.
Troll - Energy, Mind, Will, speed bonus. Penalty to hiding and avoiding attacks. Has difficulty fitting inside some medium structures and using some medium equipment. 1-2 times the size of a human.

Medium - Typical choices. Humans are the average in terms of size and strength and potential. Elves are more lithe and their closeness to nature increases their magical acuity. Dwarves are short and stocky with great strength and limited spiritual potential.

Human - No special values
Elf - Energy, Mind, Will bonus. Life, Strength, Toughness penalty. Some subspecies can be noticeably taller or shorter than humans.
Dwarf - Life, Strength, Toughness Bonus, Energy, Mind, Will penalty. Half - 3/4 the size of a human.

Small - Halflings look like small humans or thin dwarves. Nekomata are animal-like creatures (usually cat like) that hunt and gather in the wilderness. Pixies are larger cousins of fairies that can’t fly, they look like extremely thin humanoid insects/plants.

Halfling - Life, Strength, toughness, Speed penalty. Bonus to hiding and avoiding attacks. Can fit into many spaces where medium characters get stuck. Can use some medium equipment with difficulty. Half the size of a human.
Nekomata - Energy, Mind, Will, Speed penalty. Bonus to hiding and avoiding attacks. Can fit into many areas medium can’t and can use some medium equipment with difficulty. 1/4-half the size of a human
Pixie - Life, Strength, Toughness, Speed penalty. Energy, Mind, Will bonus. Can fit into many areas medium and many small characters can’t. Their frail thin form prevents them from using medium equipment. 1/4-half the size of a human

Tiny - None
A super small creature like a fairy, imp, browny or pseudodragon can be a very useful informant, familiar or traveling companion. But without special circumstances a player will be limited to sneaking through cracks and avoiding being caged as a pet or snack,
