Things I need to work on! Plus taking requests and trades by Xyloart

These are things I know I need to work on! If you think of anything else please feel free to comment.
Also I'm still taking requests and trades! Let me know if you want to do that!

Backgrounds - I never do them!

Clothing - people wear things other than birthday suits? Huh?

Watercolor technique - I have so many books from my Mom; I need to actually read them

Digital drawing - I need to at least learn the basics (for now)

Lighting - light sources come from other directions than right in front and I need to try painting that....

Canids and felines - need to do more facial and body studies

Men - I draw far more women than men. I'm better than I used to be but I'm still not where I'd like to be

Poses - I must try more different poses! For both anthro and feral

    Hi Xylo,
I would love to do a trade if you if you are interested. However I do usually take some time to finish them so it wont be a super fast rushed thing.
I also need to work on most things you listed except for watercolor, and I am straying away from digital art atm (at least with personal things). I do have a male character if you would like to draw him, or perhaps we could trade animals living in their habitat to help with backgrounds. Lol, I would even be willing to trade a scenery drawing with you. I can do sketch, graphite, color pencil with or without ink or even acrylic paint.

Hooray a trade! I will also definitely take my time with this. You listed so many fun options though; it's hard to choose!

I think I would like to attempt your male character, with some sort of background, and I'm going to sketch it and then paint it digitally. Would that be okay with you? That will be challenging me in several areas so I think it will be really good.

What do you feel like drawing? I have Xyloart the anthro or feral dragon who would be in an out of doors terrain, or I have some anthro cat people who are the crew of a space ship. I would leave the medium up to you in any case.

If you want we can figure this out here or my email is xyloart at gmail dot com if you prefer that.

Yes that is just fine. I would be happy to challenge myself on something that is more on a personal level, actually those are my most favorite things to do.
Considering the fact that I almost never draw anthro characters... why don't I give that a go as I I did a cat picture within the past few months. Also drawing a good background is something I haven't really done for ages lol! I actually paint and draw subjects and scenery but I hardly merge the two D:
Perhaps then if its ok with you I will choose a medium after I finish the sketch to see which I think works best for what I have drawn.
I am good communicating here but I feel like E-mail is always a good backup as I wont delete them and can access it form anywhere were the site to go down temporarily. i will be sending you one in a few minutes

I have something of a soft spot for whippets and wondered if they might make for an interesting canine for you to draw, with their elegant, slender, unusual body shape. Despite their sophisticated appearance they're associated with no-nonsense working class northern Englishmen, and apparently love to cuddle up.

That's a great idea! I love whippets! adds to list
