This week I've been chugging away at taking care of as much late and owed work as I can, because the backlog is... just embarrassing. 8| I made a shared Trello board with Lai and he's been helping me a ton to keep an eye on that and stay on task (I struggle a lot with focus and ADHD, so I'll make lists and then... forget about them). So far it's been working wonderfully and he'll most likely stay employed as my "manager" in future work & correspondence stuff. Productivity is REALLY NICE when it's not a constant struggle? WOW WHO KNEW.

My wrist is a lot better than it's been, but having to avoid using it so much has really made my art quality take a nosedive. Mostly I've just been doing really rough sketches just to get things OUT. For nice, finished things I need to take nearly 4+ times as long as I once could, just because of all the constant breaks I need to stop my wrist from getting too sore or numb to do anything, but that basically kills commission work, because it's too much time spent to make the price for something worth it. blpppt I'm sorry everyone. U-U

It's really frustrating, but I'm still glad that I can make THINGS without irritating those wrist muscles, since crafting and sewing work calls for more varied movements and isn't so RSI-triggering as fussing away on a little tablet. Sewing and crafting and costuming have been the only things keeping me sane with all this medical mess. I'm SO excited to finally get through this backlog because after that's all cleared, I'm getting a REALLY GOOD sewing machine, and I'll get to work on making fursuit stuff to sell! Still, I'm forcing myself to not go ahead with that until I have the backlog cleared, as personal incentive to get stuff done. c;
