Trying in vain to convert my VHS tapes into dvd format, i have a fully working VHS player, dazzle platinum and pinnacle 15, hooked together with the red/white/yellow cable from vhs player to dazzle, dazzle plugged into usb port, sounds all good right.... NOPE

Im having issues with pinnacle 15 detecting my VHS player connected with a dazzle platinum. I can hear sound but no picture comes through. Ive tried poking with some settings and plugging through a scart convertor with the red/white/yellow but nothing works. Someone said about a plugin i may need to make it convert the analog into digital for pinnacle to show the video but i though the dazzle would do that anyways? im lost on how to fix it, ive tried looking for help online but most vids on youtube just want to make it work through xbox which it does work fine but i want vhs player. Other sites just say plug this into that, press play and import on pinnacle and off you go..doesnt solve the no image issues :/

Anyone have ANY help on how to make it detect and show the image/video?
if anyone can help me make it work so i can record/transfer the images, ill offer a fully coloured/shaded 1 char pin-up in thanks ^^
