Screw titles, I woke up at 6:00am so I'm tired and going to sleep by DeRiften

The tests this morning were interesting enough. French and English tests I turned in in not even 5 minutes so I got interviewed in English right away and the teacher corrected my exam right there; 98% and instant Advanced status (as usual). Programming tests and the real interview, on the other hand, weren't at all what they said they'd be. They said the test would only be basic coding but only two or three exercises had something to do with coding... and the a) part of these exercises was to write pseudo-code, which literally all coders completely forget about once they start learning real code because it's so useless. The other exercises were either simple math or stuff that wasn't basic at all; one of the exercise basically asked you what it's like to work in a company, who gives the orders to who, etc etc. AKA stuff that nobody knew about because working at a company is why we're going there in the first place. Even the interview was mostly about that same exercise.

Once I was done with all the tests and interviews, I went to sit on the bench outside the classroom since my mom was supposed to come grab me an hour later and literally all of the people who came out of the room said that they were without a doubt going to fail the programming exam so this one girl (the only girl) waited for everyone to leave and asked the teacher if she still had a chance to pass even though she knew she failed this one exam and the teacher said they were so desperate to get students that they'd probably ignore the three exercises that got the lowest scores. The girl fell on her knees and started crying, she was so happy to even have a chance. Her story is that she was already working on a game with her ex; her ex was doing the coding and she was doing the graphics but she found out that she started hating drawing when she was forced to do it so she decided to switch sides in order to keep liking to draw when she wants to and stuff. The people I spoke to all seemed like good people

One of them was pretty cute, too. He had white hair. Said he had bleached them every three months over the span of a year while using purple shampoo and it really worked out perfectly (I tried the same and it didn't do anything for me; it'd just stay yellow). He was short and slim, wore a purple shirt and boots with really huge soles that went up to his knees. Also he had this lil' raccoon tail hanging from his belt. It's pretty obvious he's gay :o. This one other guy I spoke to really reminds me of something I used to go to school with in my first year of highschool. He looks like a strong brute kind of guy (he's also hispanic) but he's actually way more knowledgeable than he looks. He quit school because he has a lot of trouble with grammar and stuff and he absolutely hates all the general courses. And this one other guy is an obvious autist. He speaks awkward and roboty since he's not used to speaking to people, but he's really polite and has an obsession with the video game domain. When I was done talking with him, he thanked me for the conversation and awkwardly stood there not knowing what to do until I left; obvious autist.

Once my mom picked me up, we went to eat at McDonalds before visiting an apartment (the first in a list of... one. My mom had forgotten to take appointments with the others I spotted). It's really awesome. 325$/month, everything included except the phone; the freaking Internet is unlimited and as fast as what I had in my old apartment. It has a free washing/drying machine, the dishes are furnished and everything, plus there's another guy who lives there and he's African from Cameroon, so the apartment's gonna smell awesome all the time. There's even a living room with a really comfy couch/recliner/thing with cup holders and stuff (the really expensive kind of couch). The grocery stores and everything is barely 500m away and the college is 1.8km away; which can be taken by a bus that goes straight there (it's already a straight line to begin with)

Finally, after we finished visiting the apartment and handed her the check for February (of course we took it on the spot), we wandered around to get to know the neighborhood and stuff, then we went to the cinema to watch the new Hunger Games movie. It was pretty awesome.
