How Commissioning Me Works

When I open commissions, I will post those openings through a journal. Any interested buyers will then be directed to comment on that journal saying so. I will leave it open for a period of time before marking it as closed. Any interested comments I get during that open period will be considered a loose waiting list. I will accept commissions from this journal two to three at a time and slowly work through the list. Please understand that life comes up! I may not get to everyone who comments during a decent time, and instead decide to open again with a new journal.

Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Payment:

Payments will only be accepted through paypal. When sending money, please do not include any additional notes or information, as Paypal does not endorse the selling of adult art/commission work and I would just like to avoid the trouble. I also request that you do not send the payment as Gift or anything else under the personal tab.

All payment must be sent as USD, and must also be paid up front. The commission will not be started until payment is received and cleared.

Commission Procedure:

When looking to buy a commission, please keep an eye out for [Open] journals announcing commissions. I only take commissions through journals, and will not accept requests for holds or future slots. When given the okay, you will be directed to please fill out the commission form and send it via note. Once the commission is confirmed, I will give you the final price and ask you to send the payment.

After the sketch for your commission is completed, I will note it to you. At this time, any minor revisions will be made, and once approved, I will move on to the completed work. (Please note, sketches are not offered for any kind of Sketch commission, nor are they offered for Rough Bust Paintings.)

Once finished with the piece, I will send the final, ful-res image via note.

Content:

I will only draw things I am comfortable with. As of this time, I do not feel like offering any sort of Explicit work. I am willing to draw artistic nudity and implied sexual activities only. I will only allow implied sexual activities with characters possessing human faces.
Exception: Occasionally I do draw explicit work for myself. If you find something in my gallery you would like to ask about getting a similar-themed drawing of, you may inquire via note for an additional 20% charge if I accept. Please understand that I may still choose to refuse you.

I am willing to draw complex characters or images, but please keep in mind additional charges may apply.

I will not draw in another artist's style. My style is unique and my own. If you want my art, you will get my style. If you would like another person's style, please commission them instead.

I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.

Revisions:

Minor changes are perfectly acceptable in the sketch stage. Excessive changes, however, will result in a fee.
Once the sketch is approved, no further revisions will be made past that point.
In the chance that I make a mistake (such as wrong colors, missed item/marking, etc), I will give compensation with a new image to match the degree of the mistake made. Given the nature of how I finish commissions, I do not have the option to go back and edit w/o major redoing.

Deciding you want a completely new pose or character after seeing the sketch will count as a resketch and will be charged.

If you are not sure if something would be considered minor or major in changes, please ask.

Rush Orders/Deadlines:

If you would like your commission to be done by a certain date, please let me know when you send me your commission form. Deadlines over two weeks from payment will not be charged for. Deadlines between one to two weeks from payment will be charged an extra 20% of the commission total. Deadlines of a week or less from payment will be charged an extra 50% of the commission total. For 1-2 day rush orders, please ask.

Permissions & Private Artworks:

I retain all rights to my art. This means that I can post it to any art accounts or websites I would like, as well as use it for portfolios, art CDs, prints, books, or any other merchandise should I desire. If you would like for me to refrain from posting your image on my galleries or for personal/selling use please state so when sending the commission form. There will be a +100% charge fee for requesting to withhold it from my galleries. You MUST still credit me for all work should you post this image anywhere yourself. This does not mean you own the rights to the image in any way.

You are allowed to post your commission in your gallery, but it must be linked and credited back to me. You may also use it for anything personal, such as printing it for yourself, using it as a personal tattoo, or as a graphic in a personal website or blog layout. When using it on a website or blog, I must be visibly credited. Please do not modify my art in any way without permission first.

Commercial use of my artwork is strictly prohibited. You may not sell t-shirts, prints, or any other items with my artwork on it. If you wish to obtain the commercial rights to the image it can be discussed before I begin working on your commission. Please understand, you will be subject to professional prices and will require the agreement in writing.

I will not give up claiming rights for any price.

Refunds:

If you need a refund for whatever reason, then you must request it before I've started your commission. If I've already started, then I will give you a partial refund based on how far along I am. I do not give refunds for pieces once they are complete.
If I, for whatever reason, find myself incapable of finishing your commission, I will refund you in full.

Frequent Questions and Answers

What are you willing to draw?
I am willing to draw the following: fanart, human, anthro, furry, feral/animals, nude, straight/slash/any type of relationship, tentacles, minor blood/wounds, kinks, and implied sexual activities. I am also willing to draw bara, mecha, and monsters but please understand these are not especially strong spots/lack proper experience.

What are you NOT willing to draw?
Explicit imagery of any kind. I do not wish to draw vore, obese characters, or extreme kinks/fetishes. If you are unsure, please ask.

What is the difference between implied sexual activities and explicit?
Implied sexual activities I would be willing to draw include anything that does not show lower genitals. (Examples of acceptable things would include: hands going down pants, characters having sex w/o anything necessarily being shown, suggestive imagery such as sucking on objects, etc.) Explicit includes anything showing lower genitals and/or extreme fetishes I do not feel comfortable drawing.

How long will my commission take?
Ideally I aim for spending a week or less per commission after payment is received.

Can I buy more than one image at a time?
You may, but please make sure to state so when requesting a commission spot. I may deny multiples depending on amount and/or requested commission type/complexity.

What is the difference between minor and major revisions on sketches?
A minor revision is maybe a limb placement, adding or removing small details, adding edits to clothing, hair, etc.
A major edit would be a completely new outfit, a different character, a new pose, large amount of minor edits, etc.
If you are not sure about if your edits would be minor or major, just ask.

My friend's birthday is coming up, and I would like to keep the image private until then. Can I do this and will I be charged?
Yes, you can, and no, you will not be charged. I am more than willing to keep an image from my galleries for a little while if you wish for it to be a surprise you give your friend. Please just let me know how long I need to keep it from my gallery.

Can I request my commission be a certain size?
Yes, you can! By default, I do everything on an 8.5inx11in page at 300dpi, then crop as needed once done. If there are certain dimensions you prefer, please let me know in the additional section of the commission form. Any dimensions above 8.5x11 may result in an additional fee.

Will you ever offer character design commissions?
Maybe! I get this question a lot, and the problem is that I am unsure how I would price such a thing. I also feel I should have more design experience before offering such an option. If you would like to come to me with an offer, you are welcome to do so.
