What's your job or occupation?
I'm a research scientist with a lot of inherited duties from the days of being a technician. I work primarily in cancer biology.

What do you like about yourself?
I'm a jack of all trades and able to take on many tasks without too much hassle.

What do you dislike about yourself?
I have bipolar in addition to disliking my own intelligence. I've spent a lot of time just wishing I could be 'normal'

What did your friends notice about you when they first met you?
Most think of me as quiet and low maintenance.

What is your belief/religion if you believe in anything at all?
Was raised Catholic, lost my faith ages ago. I fear the futility of life without anything beyond this life, so I hope there is something there, but my logical side won't accept anything without evidence. I don't fault other religions at all so long as they don't hurt others with it, and I find the stories behind them interesting.

Do you drink?
Yes. Generally a beer or two in a night. I like the taste but I don't like being drunk.

Do you smoke?
Tried it ages ago, not my thing. The smell really bothers my nose and makes it hard for me to breath.

What are your major fears?
Being alone or rejected. Death. Going blind.

Do you have any dreams or goals?
Not so much for dreams any more, just living day to day. I'd like to be a better artist and pick up singing a little though.

Have you ever had a crush or an ex?
Yes on both.

Who's your best buddy?
I'm not sure I have a best these days. I have some good folks I trust, but no single one stands out.

What's your favorite dish?
Hard question. Beef strogenoff, burritos, fish of nearly any kind, and fried chicken all rank high.

What's your favorite drink?
Coffee for sure. I drink a lot of it.

What's your favorite color?
In general I like dark, cool colors. Blue and green rank high with black, gray, and purple coming in on the next tier.

If you had a super power, what would it be?
Shapeshifting and to the limits of things like water spirits and such that is to say they can become anything they can see. I love the idea of changelings, and being able to be any animal or appear as anything else is cool.

Second choice though, and a hard split. would be able to heal a target on contact. I think I would need the shapeshifting to hide the healing as you can be sure there would be a cult following the 'mystic healer' soon enough.

If we go genie's three wishes, toss immortality in the last slot in the format of being indestructible to be without death. Why? See fears above.

What's your favorite movie?
Secret of NIMH. I love mice and I love the animation style. How to Train Your Dragon, Ratatouille, Stardust are loves of mine though as well.

What's your least favorite food?
Anything with a gristle texture. I bite into cartilage and my appetite is gone.

What's the last meal you want before you die?
Any kind of pub food as it won't be the food as much as sharing the last meal with someone. I'll hope they will remember me fondly when I am gone.

What do you drive and what would you really like to drive?
I used to drive a 1990 Chevy Corsica, but I sold it when I left for graduate school. I'd like a sedan again I think or maybe something like a Chevy S10.

What is your most disliked bug?
I was going to say spiders or even wasps, but then I thought about it. Wood ticks. Definitely ticks.

What pet peeves do you dislike the most?
Being made to repeat myself or not being listened to. Also people that insist that they must apologize when I have told them to leave me alone. That last word thing is a hot button.

What do you dislike in life?
How insignificant I feel. Really, I don't take in any news unless I have to and it has had no impact on my life. I can't get 12 people in a lab to pay attention to me without using my boss to come down on them let alone think anything I can do will effect the world. So many vanish every day and nothing slows down unless it was a national leader or such.
