Hi everyone!
I just would like to make a quick post about where I stand on friend requests on here;
I am quite happy that Weasyl has the option to filter those we watch and those we are actually friends with. It makes searching for people much simpler and easy. For this reason please do not send me a friend request unless, you know, we are actually friends XD
I have been getting a few from people I have never spoken to before, and am finding it a tad....odd? Like I don't understand why people are trying to list me as a friend when not only have we never spoken, but they've never commented on anything before. Stranger danger!! D8

Besides that I hope everyone is alright :D There's so much drama on FA at the moment it is doing my head in. Everywhere you look is a reference to it. I am probably going to gradually work on making weasyl my main. The site is so much cleaner than FA, though I find the browsing page is taking longer to get used to. I don't even really know why that is.
I will create more art soon. I willllll. Work has me pooped! The kids are very energy draining XD

Oh gosh, I'll try to summarise:
A few years ago some private messages were exposed by hackers between a lass and the site's owner regarding a sexual assault from another user. The site owner claimed a neutral stance, but apparently suggested she kept it quiet (the notes are still available to read all over tumblr, I just can't remember all the details)
Fast forward to now and the person who made the alleged sexual assault has been taken on as a coder for the site overhaul, sending people into uproar. People do not believe this is remaining neutral, nor is it appropriate having such a person on staff in the first place.
What has really added petrol to the fire though is that at first when these concerns were brought up, admins went round hiding comments and banning people from spreading the word. It has been seen as an attempt to cover up the scandal rather than reassure the users.
It's a PR mess that hasn't been handled well!

I was saying the same there, its better that fa just dies now so ppl will have to leave. Myself I will slowly make my move here to Weasyl and try to make myself independent from fa!
