Made my decision by KaiFennec
Ii'm sure you're all sick of hearing this but
I am officially leaving FA by Friday, once I get everything cleared out. I thought about staying just on my commission account so I can continue saving for when I move this summer, but I just can't. The whole situation is absolutely gross and I can't stand to stay there any longer. This community and website in general seem a lot better and more mature. I can't believe I stayed there as long as I did.

i definitely hope Weasyl gets more popular. They seem to know what they're doing without causing problems.

I'm curious though, has this decision to move permanently affected your commission traffic/queue at all? I know that this site has a smaller user base for now, and gaining ground steadily. How do build up on followers and such? I'm guessing more personal art for now to attract attention?

it probably will but at the moment I'm not really NEEDING commissions so I'm not worrying about it. A lot of people are moving here, so I just need to focus on personal art for a while like you said until I can get back to where I was before. I needed a break anyway, school's killing right now.

I don't blame you. FA has been in decline for quite some time, and it seems that more people are starting to jump ship to here. I still like both though, since it's still so freaking large, but over time, I think Weasyl might become the biggest furry related site because of it's new sleek design, and hopefully free of whatever new drama plagues FA.
