Wow, suddenly people on Weasyl, imagine that. Not gonna question the many reasons why people are suddenly on here, but hey, glad it's finally happening. Change is good.

So it popped into my head today, who's the first furry I met irl. And I thought it was some one I knew well after I got involved with the furry fandom. But now that I think about it, there was one I met before I got into furry at all.

Following my Freshman year of high school, I took part in a two week program at Improv Boston, there was a guy named Ryan who made it known he was a furry. He even wore a tail a few days and mentioned he'd been to Anthrocon. He was at least a couple years older than me and he said he went to Newton North (or was it South?) high school. He worked at CVS. And he had claimed that he got banned from his local church for punching a woman in the face who kept harassing him about being bi. I want to say he lead me to believe his fursona was an arctic fox, but I can't be too sure.

I figured I'd put this out there as a bit of an experiment so if you know anyone who fits this description, lemme know:

• First name is Ryan
• Is likely 23-26 years old by now
• Went to high school in Newton, MA
• worked at a CVS in high school

EDIT: And found him. Amazing what you can come up with with just a first name, former employer, and hometown.
