Since I had to spend some time doing research, figured I would write up this post. Here goes!

So you're ready to make the big jump from FA to Weasyl. Maybe it's political reasons, maybe it's stablilty reasons, maybe it's the UI, and maybe it's something else, but I wanted to put together a way for people to do it!

Moving Content:
Step 1: Create a Weasyl account if you don't have one (duh).
Step 2: Install Chrome if you're the 5 people in the fandom that don't use it.
Step 3: Install the Waxpost Chrome Extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/waxpost-weasyl-crossposte/boddplgmdhddfmchbifhpdpekfdaenjc?hl=en)
Step 4: Login to FA and Weasyl and open a tab to your FA gallery.
Step 5: Click any item in your gallery you want to migrate.
Step 6: Click the little "W" icon in the address bar on the right. The extension will automatically create a submission that you can now fill out the fields, set the content rating, and sort into folders.
Step 7: Rinse and repeat till you're done!

Moving watches:
Step 1: Open your FA watches list.
Step 2: Copy the entire list.
Step 3: Open http://projects.weasyl.com/soft/ and paste the user list into it.
Step 4: Match up the FA names to the Weasyl names (if they exist) and if the profile names are correct, click "Vouch." For future submitters to the tool, this will make identifying legitimate users easier. Also you can submit corrections for usernames if needed.
Step 5: If you have more users than the tool can support, the extra users will already be pre-filled for you to submit again.
