How I confuse football fans by Mazz

I was at the raptor center today and After being tired all week of hearing about football because apparently Colorado's team didn't suck this year. This visitor asks me "Are you excited about the Broncos?" and my response was "I'm confused we only have birds here"

His expression was a generally confused/upset look as he proceeded not to ask more about sports.

        The markup system has strange things sometimes.

        Like, one stray character caused this.

        And then, by indenting this line, I cause it to printout as code instead of regular text.

    There was far too much orange and blue at work today. We're an engineering company, not a sports bar but apparently people support the local sports team. Meh. Not my thing.
