Wow is it really sad that I was just.... DYING for Weasyl to come back? Hahaha I just kept glancing over at fA being like "I'M SO DONE WITH YOU" before clicking on Weasyl's icon and getting really sad when it wouldn't load up, lmao.
GLAD WE'RE ALL BACK SAFE AND SOUND. I'm excited to keep posting here and see more posts! Hope to see a lot more familiar faces over on this side as well!

i was ready to move on from FA after the umpteenth security leak and friggin impossible administrator attitudes, i'm glad that seemingly everybody working on Weasyl gives a shit. but then, it also has the monetary drive, which tends to inspire quality and support. when you're doing something for pretty much free you can give as many excuses as you want and fall back on it. it can't happen here, and so far it seems to be driving a great user experience.

Yeah, definitely! I have HUGE high hopes for this site. Like I keep saying, I'm already so attached to it, and things are looking so promising.

For what it's worth, none of us are making any money off of this. Any surplus goes directly to fund site longevity and maintenance. I know the whole 'good work is its own reward' thing is cliché as hell, but there you go c:

Nah. Maybe someday a long (looong) time down the line if we're a crazy amount in the green we'll dole out bonuses or something, but I don't think anyone came into this expecting Weasyl to pay the bills
