My studies are going well and chapter-wise, I'm getting into the fun stuff that I'll actually learn this semester, so technically the layer of rust is gone and I could stop studying but hey, practice makes perfect, right? The day before yesterday, I started working on recursive functions and made a program that could tell you which number is in the xth position of the Fibonacci sequence and I thought it was neat so I told a friend of mine I'd ask it what the 500th number is and let it run all night but it's been a full day now and it's still running so if it isn't done tomorrow, I'll forget about it. After all, it's relatively resource-intensive so I can't play games while running it, so I've been spending the day playing Golden Sun: Dark Dawn on my 3DS instead; it's a pretty good game but I'd still like to play some FF XIV or Rust, too.

Today, my mom and I were supposed to go see the new Hunger Games movie but on her way back from work, she had a minor car accident so the plans were delayed to another day, which sucks since I ran outta chewing gum and body soap and we were supposed to go buy some today while we were at the city; instead we'll see in town tomorrow if there's the brand of soap I use but till then, I can't study since no gum = no focus. (also, chewing the same flavor of gum that you were chewing while studying during an exam helps you remember the subject, so there's that)

My sleeping hours have been a bit delayed lately, too. At first, the daily chapter took 30, 40 or 50 mins to complete but the day before yesterday, the chapter took four hours to complete and yesterday, two. I guess that's to be expected since chapters are, indeed, supposed to get harder and longer but I wasn't expecting such a steep curve, especially after it was getting longer at such a progressive rate the first few days. Oh well, it's not that big of a deal, I'll have to get used to studying for four hours or more anyway for when my course starts for real.
