So recently, thanks to some online reviews of the first few Pokemon movies, I've developed a bit of a hankering to get into the games again, and given that the last (and indeed only) such game I played was Pokemon Blue on the Game Boy, I decided it might be about time I updated my gaming tech and get a 3DS and a copy of the latest generation of the game series. Given that Noble Wolf still has a few fursuits left in his queue before he gets to Gypsy, I decided I had enough disposable income to go for it, and go for it I did.
Now, given that for some reason the 3DS XL does not come with an AC adapter, I was careful to include one in my order. Anyhoo, my package arrived just today, so I'm now the proud owner of a copy of Pokemon Y, an AC adapter for a 3DS XL... and no 3DS XL. As you can imagine, having a game and a charger for an absent console is somewhat frustrating.

However, there is a bright side to all this: one slightly terse help query and about half an hour later and I've been promised a free replacement 3DS to correct this mistake. So it seems that Amazon are fallible, but their customer service is at least satisfactorily helpful.

Anyhoo, given that I'll hopefully have a brand new 3DS to play with tomorrow, does anyone out there have any favourite games to recommend?
