So, I'm really hoping Weasyl takes off soon so's I can migrate fully from FA. I'm becoming increasingly uncomfortable being associated with a site that in turn associates itself with so much drama and base behavior, particularly from site staff. Realistically, I don't foresee a mass exodus happening any time soon, but I figure that Weasyl is on the up-and-up anyway so eventually it'll see more traffic, especially if management over there becomes increasingly less professional. Not that I'm really all that into the furry-scene anyway, but I do have quite a few clients who are. I figure the secret to getting Weasyl more traffic is simply that it needs more promotion so I'll be promoting the hell out of my Weasyl account in the coming year, perhaps posting some art that will be exclusive to this account as per a friend of mine's idea. Not that I have very many watchers on either my DA or FA...Well, maybe my FA. Almost 1,000! Wow! I hadn't realized! :D

I think a big plus for me in regards to what Weasyl has to offer is that the site staff is attentive and fixes things quickly. I like everything about the site except that it resizes my larger images (though to be fair, you can download the original file and having larger upload sizes exclusive for premium accounts makes sense). I also think that making it so that searching tags would include plural or singular versions of what you looking for, i.e. entering "werewolf" in the search bar would also cause it to search for "werewolves". Or something like that. I really do like that the filtering system is more intuitive as well. Though it would be nice if they included an option to create a journal from the Journal tab - if you're the one logged in to your own profile, that is. I guess it does make sense to have it only under the Submit tab though, I just had trouble finding it. lol

ANYWAY, I neglected Weasyl for a bit but now I'm back and will be uploading stuff more regularly. C:
