Never have so many things died so quickly. Pursuit is the bane of my travels as well as critical hits. My only team member who has been with me since the beginning is my Roselia, whom I'm waiting to evolve so she can learn more moves. I'm terrified of this next gym. I go in short handed, 5 Pokemon instead of 6, my crutch is my level 24 Minccino while the rest of my party is 39. The grass gym makes me a little less fearful, but this is a nuzlocke and nothing is easy. First challenger, level 32. I find myself severely handicapped, Pupitar can NOT see anything in this gym. Marowak is also quite challenged. Roselia is all grass moves. Only tms/hms that can be used are those that are needed to get items/continue the storyline. I'm at the gym leader. I'm scared. Roselia vs. Jumpluff. I took a deep breath as I tapped toxic spikes. Acrobatics. Heart attack. She survived. Switch to Charizard that one shots. Gogoat. Poisoned. To the red. Take down does some damage, but recoil and toxic kill it. Weepinbell and Machamp. 2 hyper potions on Weepinbell and some attacks later and I find victory. I can fly finally. What a fucking travel to get here though. So many teammates have died, so many tears shed.
