Some of you might already know me from elsewhere on the internet, but since this is a shiny new account on a shiny new website, I thought I should actually, y'know, introduce myself.

HI. I'm Katie, also known as Squeedge to internet folks. Either works. I like to pretend I'm a monster on the internet, but actually I'm just some big idiot nerd, residing in Washington state and re-attending college for graphic design after a three year break. Right now I do art semi-professionally, tackling a range of things from personal commissions to game design, trying to chisel my way towards making a decent living doing what I love.

You've probably already noticed, but I like to draw pointy things with big gnashing teeth. Monsters and reptiles are the biggest driving forces behind my art, as I've been fascinated with them for as long as I can remember. Aside from that I just love animals in general, as well as horror movies, video games, comic books and bright colors.

I have an ongoing partnership with this guy. I mean that in both the business and romantic sense, it's pretty swell. Generally I draw album art and design merch for his web label, Lapfox Trax (if you're into EDM go check it out!) but we also make games from time to time, usually of the SHMUP variety.

O-okay I think that's it. I'm admittedly not so great at introductions, so if you wanna know anything, just ask! I can't reply to all my comments, but I do try my best to answer questions.

And wow I... really dig this place so far. I sense an incredible amount of potential here, and I really really don't want it to go to waste. I'M ROOTING FOR YOU, WEASYL. Keep it up guys, seriously!
