Commission How To/FAQ by aggro_badger

(again, sorry, still converting info from FA to Weasyl but hopefully things are clear)

I've been intending to do a brief How-To kind of write up to help people understand my commission process for a while, so here goes. I will try to edit/streamline it as best I can and answer questions in the comments, and add them to the FAQ as needed.

How to Commission aggro_badger!

Step 1: Take a look at my...

TOS: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3067062/ (needs some updating, but you get the general idea!)

Price Guide: https://www.weasyl.com/journal/20581/commission-price-guide

...and monthly commission schedule (link posted in my FA profile).

Step 2: Wait for a Journal with an Application

If you've checked my commission schedule, you'll see I'm only open for commissions on certain days and for a limited time. Keep an eye out for journals for more up to date information on what time of day I will open for commissions. I also sometimes make commissions available earlier, or post updates to my twitter account. @aggro_badger

Step 3: Fill Out the Application in the Journal

The journal announcing that I'm open for commissions will contain a link to an application. Please fill it out to the best of your ability, including your refs*, your commission idea, times you're likely to be able to watch the stream (if you'd like to watch, that is) and e-mail information.

If you want multiple commissions, please fill out the form separately for each commission, including your references each time.

[I will get a screen cap of the application and post it here so that people can be prepared, I just don't have it handy yet. Place holder!]

*It doesn't have to be a proper ref sheet, any visual representation or short write up will do. A photo of said animal, or colour swatches off of wikipedia or http://colorschemedesigner.com/ work well too!

Step 4: Wait For a Note

Typically within 48 hours of the application closing, either myself or :icontalosar: will send out notes.

We will include total price, payment information and ask for clarification if there are any issues with the commission info.

If you feel that you have forgotten any information or references, wait for this note and use this opportunity to reply with that information.

Step 5: Payment

Follow the instructions in the note and pay for your commission. I ask that all payments be made prior to the start of the weekend stream. Typically 10am EST on Saturday.

Step 6: Streaming!

I will stream the entire batch of commissions over the weekend, typically Saturday through Monday. I will try to arrange it so that people's commissions are done during the times that they've specified availability, but schedules change. I do attempt to post in a journal before/during the stream to give everyone an idea of what's happening, but always feel free to stop by. I typically default to people who are present first and foremost.

FAQ

Have a question you don't see here? Ask in the comments and I'll add it!

Do you take...

...Commissions? YEP

...Trades? MAYBE

...Requests/Free Art? NOPE

What is your Twitter account?

@aggro_badger

Which types of payment do you accept?

Primarily Paypal, but also Dwolla and sometimes Amazon Giftcards

Will probably also be accepting Google Wallet and Amazon Payments in the future. Working on it, slowly.

What won't you draw?

-Vaginal/Anal/Nipple Hyper

-Vaginal/Anal/Nipple/Penial Vore

-Scat

-Flatulence (comedy would probably be fine, but not of a sexual nature)

-Child/Animal Abuse

(Including but not limited to sexual situations. This does not rule out all ferals, but most non-fantasy feral/human adult content is probably out. ).

-Abusive/Derogatory content of a Racist/Sexist/Homophobic/Transphobic Nature.

Things you'll draw, but with limitations?

-Body Odor/Skunk Spray

-Watersports

-Diapers

-Crush

How big are the images? Can I get a higher res version?

-Typically I draw on a 1000x1000 canvas, though this varies up and down by a hundred or so depending on what I feel the image needs.

I always post the highest possible resolution to FA.

Can you Tweet/Note/Email/Text/IM/Contact me when you're drawing my picture?

-No.

Does my commission have to be streamed and/or posted publicly?

No, and no.

I would generally prefer to stream and post all images, because it's easier on my overall work flow, but I am flexible on both matters.

I can even stream images privately over join.me if that's what you need. I will need ample warning (say so when applying) and there are some weeks where I will not be able to accommodate this.

In some cases this may delay the image by a couple days, so if there is anything time sensitive, please say so upfront.

Please either note me, or add the appropriate information to the application when applying.

Non-posted images are subject to email delivery fee.

How was Scheduling Work?

I take the time frames given to me in the application and arrange people roughly by those, giving priority to people who are present in the stream. Typically I also attempt to fit people with more limited availability in first.

Due to people not always showing up when they say they're going to, and some images taking longer than others, I don't plan out the schedule before hand and I can't give anyone a set time. If you have specific scheduling needs, make them clear on the application.
