Has anyone here purchased an ouya? I'm hearing it's awesome for retro gaming.
not really a fan of older game consoles, the earliest i go to is gameboy and ps1 X3 mostly cuz i was raised on those rather than the older ones
Aye, my first game console was an Atari 2600, so I occasionally get nostalgic for some old console gaming.
i say go emulator then, http://www.emulator-zone.com/ try here if you want to find the good ones :)
I know it runs some Android apps and games. Wasn't aware of the emulator capabilities, but if those work weel, I may consider getting one.
I have no real experience using the ouya for retro gaming and emulation and such, but having used one at a gaming party at work, the overall experience of the Ouya was terrible. The games available in their app store were terrible, like the dregs of the xbox live arcade without any of the good games floating on top. The controllers took forever to pair, and would spontaneously unpair once they went to sleep.
Unless it is going to be magically updated to have a better user interface and controllers, I wouldn't spend money for an Ouya even though it's quite cheap.

I don't have one and I don't feel that inclined to get one, but if it's retro console gaming (NES, SNES, etc.) a Wii U would make more sense to me.
What kind of retro gaming do you mean exactly?
