Every so often I get in to sketching moods where that's all I want to do. They help me get a better grasp on how an animal looks, how to draw it, and helps me improve my skills as an artist.
I have here a list I compiled of 37 different prehistoric mammals, I've checked all to make sure Google gives more then just a skeleton of what it would look like. So I would like to challenge anyone to join me in sketching these critters! This is totally for fun, you wont get a prize if you complete the list, this is just for your own enjoyment of drawing, and maybe learning a thing or two. When you're done feel free to comment with links to your sketches, it's always fun to see how other people interpret an animal.
THE RULES
1. HAVE FUN. If you don't have fun then I have no idea why you joined up.
2. I'll give you a month to sketch as many as you can. The list gives you options so look them all up see whatcha like. Run out of time don't worry! I'll leave these journals up if you want to try the other critters.
3. This is not a competition, no ones going to judge your skills at art. Unless you ask for a critique.
4. Sketch them how ever you wish, anthro, feral, toony, chibi, whatever feels comfortable to you.
5. Can't draw? NO PROBLEM shoot me a note with themes or animals you'd like to see on a list.
THE LIST DUN DUN DUUUNNNNN! All can be looked up in Google for references. (if I spell something wrong tell me, I can't always read my writing)
