Waste of time and time to waste by DeRiften

Man I'm tired. Today was the day where I was supposed to meet the Programme Réussir guy to talk about the information meeting and who'd fund the optional classes and stuff, so I was expecting to spend an hour or two in town. Started by going to the bank for the monthly stuff but half of the staff was sick so I ended up waiting 45 minutes before it was my turn. Then I went to the post office since I had sold another game, and of course half the staff was sick so I spent 15 minutes there instead of the usual five minutes or so. After that came the local job center to see the guy. Phoned him to let him know I was waiting in the waiting room and went to take a seat with a number in my hand since I needed to speak to an employee anyway so I could make my CV since I need one for my class registrations... an hour later my turn finally came. It took this long because again, half the staff was sick. So I got up and asked the clerk if the guy was there after all, because he still hadn't come. Ends up he too is sick so I did my CV and left, thinking I at least didn't go there for nothing. But as I got in the car, I noticed I had made a typo and will need to redo it so I did, in fact, go there for nothing. I was then planning to go to Wal-Mart so I could buy a new pair of pajama pants since mine are falling apart, but my uncle had an appointment elsewhere so I came back home only to go to the grocery store right away. By then I was exhausted and starving so it was a pretty dreadful trip. Only had a few things to buy so at least it didn't take time... is what I would have said if half the staff wasn't sick and the shelves more than half empty because everything was on discount.

So basically, I left home around 1:00pm and came back around 4:30pm, and still had cleaning up and laundry to do. Grabbed something to eat fast and got to work and when I was done, I received an email from the guy who bought the game saying that he had put the wrong address so the game will come back to me and I'll need to ship it again, so I told him he'd need to pay the shipping fees again somehow and I haven't gotten a reply yet. Hopefully he'll find a way to pay those shipping fees but as far as I know, Amazon doesn't have that feature so I'll probably have to issue a refund; which won't be so bad if the game does come back.

Since I have money again, I ordered that copy of my birth certificate and then bought Final Fantasy XIV since a friend of mine's been saying it's awesome and playing it pretty much non-stop ever since it came out. My verdict after a few hours of playing it is: It's decent enough. The voice-acting is lacking and the graphics are pretty outdated but the gameplay is pretty good, the music is really good and the Final Fantasy feel is slightly present. Though if I have a complaint, it's that the area where I spawned in is pretty much a sailor's town so their speech are almost unreadable and giving me a headache, plus I swear the devs just bashed their heads on their keyboard to come up with memorable names such as Ahldskyf, among many, many, many other freaks.

Overall it's decent enough but I've seen better, though I'm only freshly out of the starting town so I haven't seen nearly enough to have a definite opinion.
