Well, I'm tight on money again and will be for a while thanks to my friendly ISP raising their prices once again without telling anyone, as usual; plus the GPU upgrade will have to wait... indefinitely. To counter this I phoned 'em to downgrade my Internet back to what it was last month and I've removed TV entirely, which isn't that much of a bummer since all the channels I watch (a whopping two) are available online. So now I'll have to pay 2x less, which should actually help me quite a bit.

I wasn't in the mood for singing after that so I mindlessly played FlyFF for a while to try and get that off my mind but it didn't work so I watched videos instead. Finished the first season of Pokemon at moved on to another of Nova's series and of course that managed to make me laugh and feel better, but I wasn't expecting my day to be anything special till one of my family's friends and possibly the nicest woman I know called me and invited me to eat supper at her house so of course I accepted. She came to pick me up around 5:00pm and I left her home at 8:00pm, stuffed full of goodies. I don't see her often but she's always so nice to see and chat with, and her daughter was there too! (she's 48 but her daughter is 19 and no, we're not flirting; I consider her a cousin even though we're not family :P) She always makes some awesome noms (and a shitload of 'em too, I'm stuffed!) so it's a blast to visit her and I had a pretty awesome evening which sure helped lighten my mood!

Oh, and for those of you who might be thinking "Ibby, a woman in her 40s calls you out of the blue and invites you to dinner and you say yes? Someday the cops will find your limbs stuffed in a body bag in the river, I swear to God...", my grandma also happened to be there so it was indeed a pretty effective surprise!
