It takes place on a planet known as Dranshel (I'm terrible with names). The primary intelligent race is Draconem (Foreign word for dragon). The Draconem have developed advanced technology and discovered a form of magic they all call "Energy manipulation".

Dranshel is very much like Earth. There are countries, Religion, and most of all, Science. However, they also experience many negative events like war and genocide.

The Main character is a young Draco named Fang. After moving out of his step mother's home, he became room mates with ace Energy manipulator student, Eclipse. He acted as an assistant to her. She was trained by the best energy manipulator at her academy and has connections with politicians and royalty. She was actually a childhood friend of a Princess of a neighboring country.

Fang took interest in Martial arts and joined an underground martial arts union (I haven't thought of a name for it yet). His determination made him the best fighter and was given a powerful suit of armor as a result, which he uses as a vigilante. His step sister, Sarea, is the only one outside of the union who knows he is the one in the armor.

Fang has a number of flaws though. When he was an infant, he spent several nights in the forest before being found by his current step mother. He developed a fear of abandonment as a result. Fang subjected himself to a drug which is supposed to remove fear, but causes him to hallucinate occasionally. He injects it in his left arm and wears a sleeve over it to hide his punctures.

I was inspired to create this series after growing so fond of Spike from MLP. I wanted to create a story where the assistant of an important figure was the hero. Fang himself is based on Spike while Eclipse is based on Twilight and several other characters inspired by other MLP characters. It was originally meant to be a video game, but it'll be a long time before I can make it into that.

I'm also thinking about writing a crossover of this story with MLP. As a brief synopsis, Spike ends up on Dranshel and is cared for by the Draconem. Fang, eager to learn more about where Spike came from, makes himself look like Spike and goes to Equestria. There, all the ponies begin to think there is something different about Spike as he become more violent and the mysterious appearance of an armored dragon slaying their enemies.
