Sid Meier's classic controls! by DeRiften

Since I finished Dragon Age 2 and Age of Empires III Complete, I've downloaded a few games today since I can't be bothered to resume Skyrim. Sooooo I ended up spending most of the day playing Sid Meier's Pirates. Hot dang that game is awesome. It's old and shouldn't be that good but it's just so addictive and awesome; I blame the catchy music and colorful graphics! I would have played it all afternoon if it weren't for the groceries and cleaning up I needed to do. Speaking of groceries, while I was at the grocery store I checked the 50% off rack and found this curious little thing. A pot of peanut butter that also has cinnamon granola and dried raisins. I didn't know such a thing even existed so of course I bought it and after supper, I figured I'd make myself some toast as a dessert. The texture is really rough since there's granola mixed in, and it's harder to spread than regular peanut butter but still easier than crunchy butter (hate that thing), and hot dang it is DELICIOUS! Coupled with the traditionally baked ancient bread that was also on discount and I surely have enough fiber to last a week. Today I also had the occasion to wipe the dust off my coat since it was icy raining outside, and now it looks too big for me >.>

Downside of losing weight I guess, I have to buy new clothes but these cost money so I'll look like a black potato bag for a while longer. As for my evening, I figured I'd try out the multiplayer in GTA IV since it looked awesome after watching videos, so I popped ingame, froze, tried again, froze again, repeat three times before I realized it wasn't freezing, it just takes a FEW minutes to load the freaking starting screen so you're stuck with a black screen for a while. When I finally made it ingame I tried the multiplayer but it just won't work; probably another "open up x port" bullshit that's impossible to do with my ISP (and most in Quebec, for that matter). Soooooo while I was looking in the options for some way to fix it, I found the thing that makes the game awesome and playable. You can change the controls to the way they were in San Andreas and before. NOW you can actually drive the cars without using half of your freaking fingers (excluding shooting). Figures, the handling on those cars is still utter bullshit and you need to abuse the handbrake like a motherfucker on crack, but it's still enough to make the game pretty good so I've been playing that all evening and will probably do so for a while. But for now, I'll login to Minecraft to see how the server's been doing since I haven't been there in a few days.

Stay awesome, people!

EDIT: Since where weren't anyone online on the server, I browsed the Internet for a while before playing a quick game of Portal. T'was my first time completing it and it took me an hour and 15 mins. T'was fun but I prefer the second game, it's longer and harder (not that it's actually hard).
