Well, an entire day spent well, starting with a train trip to Melbourne. Mostly quiet, even when I got the tram to Elizabeth Street and walked to Melbourne Central. At first glance, it looked as if the Me Bank tower was part of the complex. In actual fact, it has no relation to the shopping centre, it just shares the same block.

I got there an hour early, but around 12ish, one or two people arrived and started wondering around looking for others... Surprise! The first of the Melbourne Furs. Anyway, four hours later, I finally decided to leave (would have stayed all night if I didn't live hours away), and got a train back home... on which, I witnessed one wanker starting a fight with the conductor because she wanted to see his ticket, and he wouldn't show her. He also had two Myki cards and has been scamming the card system. Long story short, it costs $19 for a return trip from Bendigo to Melbourne, but it's possible to buy two Myki cards, only put 50 cents on each, and ride anywhere you want to. However, the risk for not having enough money on the Myki card means that you'll likely get in trouble for insufficient funds, or (as this guy said had happened once), left at the next stop to wait for the next train.

Anyway, I don't regret my decision to go. It was a gamble of time and money, but it paid off. I came home to a few new watchers and Steam friends.
